This service is different in two significant ways:

First, consider being the one to start the movement in your town. Put up a signal! When you place a physical signal up, it signifies that something is happening. It is a way to open up a conversation. And about the need we all have to connect, even for just 15 minutes with someone you may never see again. It means you welcome others to, for example, sit and chat, work side-by-side with minimal chatting, or play a board game together.

Second, if you have a favorite spot to, for example, sip coffee or wine, you can ask the manager or owner if they would like to register their business. It is free! The business can also download printable instructions to post on the walls and maybe provide some signal for guests to use to show they are open to chat. Soon your place will be a place to connect to people. If they do not wish to register, well you can still put up your own physical signal and digital pin if it complies with the location's policies.
